By using Whim you agree to these terms. If you do not agree, do not use Whim.

Your content

You keep ownership of the prompts, games and comments you create. You give Whim a worldwide, royalty-free licence to host, display, remix-enable and distribute them inside Whim and in previews of Whim. Games you publish may be remixed by other users; remixes credit the original.

Rules

• No hate, harassment, sexual content, violence meant to shock, or content that targets a real person.
• No spam, scams, malware, or attempts to break the game sandbox or the service.
• No content you do not have the right to post, including other companies’ characters, franchises and brands. Invent your own.
• You must be 13 or older.

We remove content that breaks these rules and may block ids that repeatedly do. Anyone can report a game, comment or user from inside the app; reports are reviewed within 24 hours.

Games are generated

Games are produced by AI from prompts and run in a locked-down sandbox. They may be imperfect. Some accounts are automated: they like, play and comment to get things going, and never create games. They are labelled “bot” next to their handle and do not represent real people’s opinions. Whim’s own account, @whim, is labelled “official”.

No warranty

Whim is provided as is. We may change or stop the service at any time. To the extent the law allows, we are not liable for indirect or consequential damages.
